It was a please to meet with Kevin McCloud at the Grand Designs expo in Sydney yesterday.
if only some of his show users used RubySketch I think there would be a lot less issues with budget. :-)

We stumbled across this idea when trying to sort out an alternative solution for our customers. We build extensions, renovations and new homes for customers in the north & and north western regions of Sydney. Due to the rental crisis in Sydney our customers were having trouble finding alternative accommodation. I decided to build them a temporary home that we could put on-site whilst we were building.
We purposely made the container small enough to fit on the block yet big enough to sleep 2 comfortably. At the moment there we are yet to fit a kitchen as a BBQ outside is easily set up and takes a lot less valuable space away.  Our modular home is attracting a lot of attention in NSW and we look forward to your feed back on how you could use one to improve your lifestyle.

Eco Sustainable building using RubySketch

Hi all thanks for looking at my Blog. If you wish to get a 3d model of the container The 3D Model is done in Sketchup, DWG , DXF
Please note that the container and the information is for personal use. I hope that you can build a better container than I did. If you do please send me a photo.
I wish you all the best in your container building. If you would like more information on how we did it download free 3D software by Google there is a link on the RubySketch website
If you need more information or you just need a couple of tips that are not here please email me.

If you like sustainable products follow the link. Ruby Sketch has added a sustainable product service that you can look at and down load 3d models for free. Great when building a low energy dwelling.
If you are on a very tight budget then go to economy range or more up market deluxe models or super high end products from the architectural collections.
If you like Australian made products then go there. http://rubysketch.com/search?q=container
